Tinkering for schools

An hour and a half of pure fun building a vertical marble run with INAF researchers.

A proposal inspired by our belief that scientific knowledge is built through experimentation, mistakes, and the joy of discovery.

In this space, participants will be invited to play with a marble run that will be built (and dismantled) throughout the festival.

This tinkering activity focuses on constructing a vertical track designed to guide a marble through rails, tubes, and funnels, making it bounce off trampolines and bumpers, and finally land—perhaps with a spectacular finale—into a container or onto a target.
